The inspiration for the piece is from the exercise called “set-shifting” designed to challenge the brain’s ability to pay attention to relevant conditions and ignore irrelevant conditions at increasing speeds.

“Mind Bender” was selected into a juried show in the Summer of 2021 called "Purely Abstract," for the Las Laguna Gallery in Laguna Beach, CA.
