The Forgiving Sea II began in 2019. I am often asked what drew me to conclude the first painting and start another. I believe that after 27 layers, it was time for the community effort to start fresh with a new painting. Just as the first, contributions of names came from many people who just wanted to achieve forgiveness in a tangible way. The Forgiving Sea II had 13 layers before it came to an abrupt end because of Covid-19. The painting seems to capture the raw energy of fear and anger.

This can be purchased as an 18" x 18" limited edition art print mounted on a wood panel with an encaustic surface treatment.
