Encaustic, river pebbles and sand on wood panel
NFS
9 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 2 5/8", framed.
Encaustic painting, a unique practice that uses pigments and beeswax, is at the heart of my work, as I incorporate earth from the visited sites into the wax, thereby capturing a unique connection between the artwork and its place of inspiration.
In January 2026, this piece will be featured in the Fishers Art Center’s exhibition, Rewilding: Contemporary Art and the Natural World.
